Brassica oleracea var. gongylodes
An early variety of an above-ground growing kohlrabi. It has light meat and a green skin. It is suitable for year-round production. It makes a medium.sized firm kohlrabi that is very resistant to cold.
Kohlrabies can be sown throughout the year but they do poorly in droughts as they ripen too fast. It is best to sow them early in the spring for harvest in spring and early summer or sowing in late summer for harvest in autumn.
