Miner´s lettuce

Montia perfoliata

A fresh-tasting leafy vegetable that can be used fresh in salads, or cooked/roasted as a side dish or addition to dishes. It is a cold-loving plant, so it is suitable for autumn-winter production. It can be sown outdoors or in an unheated greenhouse.

It has very fine seeds, so we recommend either sowing very sparsely in rows or transplanting in clumps at a distance of 15x15cm. When sown densely, the leaves are smaller, but if there is enough space, it makes leaves 3-5 cm across.
