Green in snow
Brassica juncea var. multiceps
It makes rosettes with wide green leaves. The taste is similar to mustard or Chinese cabbage. It does very well in cold, which is why the plant got the name ''Green in snow'' as it can also be harvested from under the snow.
Asian vegetables (brassica) is sown and cut as a salad that is cut. It can also make rosettes. The plants are resistant to cold, therefore they are sown in late summer or autumn and harvested throughout the winter. It is suitable for cultivation in greenhouses or outside.
They can be used fresh in salads or sandwiches, or they can be cooked like spinach. The taste is similar to Chinese cabbage.
