Kohlrabi Superschmelz - gigantic
Brassica oleracea var. gongylodes
Gigantic kohlrabies do not crack and do not become woody and when they reach the size of normal kohlrabi, they grow on. They can grow to approx. 4 kg (without the woody meat in the middle) or up to 8 kg. They grow slowly. The shell is light green color and the meat is light and buttery. Kohlrabies are also suitable for storage.
Gigantic kohlrabies are suitable only for spring-summer production so we do not sow them in late summer.
