Tatsoi
Brassica rapa var. rosularis
Also known as a 'rosettes Pak Choi'. It makes shorter stems than Pak Choi and the same dark green leaves in solid rosettes. It has a very high yield.
Asian vegetables (brassica) is sown and cut as a salad that is cut. It can also make rosettes. The plants are resistant to cold, therefore they are sown in late summer or autumn and harvested throughout the winter. It is suitable for cultivation in greenhouses or outside.
They can be used fresh in salads or sandwiches, or they can be cooked like spinach. The taste is similar to Chinese cabbage.
